For a few years, a large group of local friends, family have been getting together on a regular basis to share food, stories, friendship and, yes, to play music! We have congregated at members houses and backyards and we have, in the past, populated campgrounds for a few days, sometimes with stages and paid musicians. That may happen again if we can get it together.
For years, we get together on the second Sunday of each month.
We do not have a "music genre". We play all kinds of music suitable for our instruments which, from time to time, include guitars, mandolins, fiddles, upright basses, banjos, harmonicas, melodicas, percussive instruments and, of course, voices.
We have several venues, and they do change over time. The calendar entries will have all the detailed information.
There is NO requirement to show up at every jam. There is NO requirement to play or sing.
We DO require everyone to have an enormously wonderful time!
